Meet the Doula

Hi, I’m Nike,

I’m a Registered Nurse and birth doula serving the Twin Cities community. I grew up in Saint Paul and have lived here most of my life, and I feel deeply connected to this community. I attended college in New York, where I continued developing my passion for women’s health and family-centered care.

I’ve worked with families through many stages of life as a doula, nanny, and nurse. I’m passionate about supporting people through major life transitions and providing evidence-based, compassionate education so you can make informed decisions that feel right for you and your family.

Outside of birth work, I love learning and staying curious. In my free time, you’ll find me reading, practicing yoga, weight training, collaging, cooking, soaking up the sun, and exploring new places.

At the heart of my work, I believe in creating a nurturing, affirming, and supportive space during one of life’s most precious times. It would be an honor to support you as you prepare to meet your baby.

My Approach

My approach as your doula is rooted in support, encouragement, and education.
My role is to provide you with evidence-based information so you can make decisions that align with your values, preferences, and vision for your birth. I take time to truly get to know you, your goals, and how you want to feel during labor, so I can support you in a way that feels aligned and personalized.

I believe you are in the driver’s seat—this is your birth. I’m here as your guide, offering suggestions, reassurance, and navigation along the way, always with your destination in mind.

I am a professionally trained doula through DONA International and have supported birth in many roles, including as a nurse, doula, student, and trusted support person. My goal is to be a grounded, reliable, and adaptable part of your birth team. Sometimes that means hands-on comfort measures and advocacy, and other times it means quietly holding space while you flow through your labor.I’m known for anticipating needs, lifting spirits, and creating a calm, authentic atmosphere. It is an honor to connect with families in this intimate season of life, and I strive to make you feel supported, empowered, and deeply cared for.
